随着羿龙2处理器的发布，已经有厂商推出了基于AMD AM3平台的主板，今日华硕的首款AMD AM3平台的主板也已经出现，型号为M4A79 Deluxe。

    M4A79 Deluxe采用了AMD 790FX+SB750芯片组, 支持AM2, AM2+ 及AM3 处理器, 包括新的45NM 处理器. 内存支持方面则比较特别, 它是内建 DDR2 接口, 并非对手的DDR3，相信是考虑到目前DDR2内存更加主流的原因。

    M4A79 Deluxe 内建不少功能及接口, 包括有3条PCI-E X16接口, USB,SATA (支持RAID), IEEE1394, HDAUDIO, GBLAN等等。华硕也为它加上不少独家功能, 包括Express Gate, 8+2相电, 新的散热导管, 新的Anti-Surge Protection等等
